February 2026 England is flooding again, very badly in places, many wildlife animals would not have coped with this and many may need help with loss of their habbitat. Our village did not flood, we had one day and one night where a few roads were not accessible by car into our village, leaving only one road to get through, Thank You Lord Jesus.
1st December 2025, preparing our garden for growing crops in the spring, we are going to try growing sweetcorn for the first time, so many things you can make to eat with sweetcorn. We can pray to Lord Jesus to help protect our crops from the rain,
sweetcorn does not do well with a lot of rain.
August 2025 Rare Breed sheep fleece has arrived, very kindly gifted to me from a local Shepherdess. I have been learning how to spin sheep fleece, on my very beautiful traditional spinning wheel, these past few years. I started with a drop spindle and still use this, It really is a matter of practising and practising. I am hoping to get some flowers growing in our garden, that you can use to dye sheep fleece with, I purchased a book from a book store all about how to do this, it was the last one.
Have been given some of my children's Grandad and Grandmas things on their dads side of the family, that they lovingly bought together over the years. Thier Grandad said, I could have anything from his house, I just liked a beautiful painting of horses he had and some special things for my children, precious. I was also given a bible, that may have belonged to his Dad, it is a very old and a very large bible in a box, it has little pieces of ribbons placed
between some pages that he and his wife may have read together.
2025 I purchased a very beautiful piece of sheet music, for piano and violin to play for Lord Jesus, I am very out of practice with my violin playing and my skills on the piano are non exsistant at the moment, hope he likes it.
Making a pastel pink flower broach, "Jemima," a gift you could
give for your mother-in- law to be,
on your wedding day, mother-in-laws are precious, especially with your children.
September 2024 We have a Yellow and Amber weather warning for heavy rain today and going into tomorrow, from the Met Office, for parts of England, our water levels in our dikes and river are all very low at the moment.
Our village has not flooded.
August 2024... A cake for a Summer wedding, this is made with a simple
plain sponge, with no butter cream, as weather too hot, so just using a apricot
jam filling, hoping to make this today and a Summer wedding boquet.
A new product on its way, "Heavenly," to put your bible in.
It took me five years to learn how to crochet, I decided to have one more try at it, was not good and that was it, however I tried once more and got it,
all be it a very basic granny square, currently working on blankets for family.
October 2023 Storm Babet, flooded our village very quickly and badly,
we had no time to prepare. The river had burst it's banks, our roads became
like rivers and no transport could leave or get to us. Parents were telling me the challenges they had picking their children up from Primary school the water came up so
quickly they said. We were in an extended drought for our area, that could only be lifted
if we had a significant amount of rain fall. I would think our Aquafas
(Under Ground Wells) that provide us with water a gentleman was telling me,
I think they would all be topped up now, which is a blessing from God.
Our village has flooded twice more since storm Babet,
not as badly though.
February 2022 Storm Eunice arrived in England, with a red weather warning
danger to life, from the Met Office, so we were able to prepare for this,
our village survived with very little damage, really did not think it would,
thank you God and Lord Jesus.
My son suffered a broken arm in a very awkward place, I was not keen for him to have surgery on this. Our surgeon said he would have a crooked arm for life without surgery, I was not keen for surgery, and our surgeon found away to put a weight in his plaster cast to help keep the break in his arm straight, our surgeon was amazed at how quickly his new bone was growing to cover the break on his arm, on the X Ray and all is well, all straight, Thank you Father God and Lord Jesus.
Suffering with a condition called frozen shoulder, I was offered steroid injections or an opperation, the physio said they could not do anything and said it can last upto 18 months,
I chose to hope it would get better on its own and 18 months later it did.
Thank you God and Lord Jesus.
2020 My youngest brother almost did not survive from contracting a new virus called covid, when it first came to our country, there was no vaccine for him to have. I was praying and praying for him to Lord Jesus. My brother told me when he was in hospital , he said to himself, "No I am not going to die." Thank you Lord Jesus for helping him, we must pray and pray to God with Lord Jesus about all these viruses, Covid has become milder with a new varient, thank you Lord Jesus,
2019 My children's very first holiday abroad, and there was a storm stopping
the plane from landing, the pilot said that in all his years of flying
he had never had to divert so far away from the airport before, I had my bible with me,
the plane was eventually able to land. We were going to be toured around an Island we visited in the Bahamas, by a beautiful horse I found, the horse was in need of resting, I managed to take a photo of it, we were toured round by car, our tour guide was playing worship songs to Jesus in his car, he was playing one of my favourite songs and looking forward to his future wedding showing us photos of his wife to be, a storm was starting on the way back, our tour guide was worried they would flood, all was ok
and their Island survived a hurricane later on in that year,
We all were praying to Lord Jesus for their country.
Thank you God and Lord Jesus
Piano arrived for my children courtesy of a couple in our village, the wife was desprate to have her old piano back and was offering this one to a new home, it has a beautiful sound, they are both blessed with playing this instrument, and enjoyed their lesson at school
with their music teacher and they were doing very well. Their Grandad on their dads side of the family played the piano perfectly so beautiful, l was so pleased to have been able
to hear him play one sunny afternoon. My dad also learned to play the piano in his retirement years, so it really is never too late to learn, he really was doing
very well, reading the sheet music and we have forever with Lord Jesus to play our instrument’s, how wonderful, thank you Father God…
New vet arrived in our village, a lady said to me, that she saw a Deer
run into the vets car park, with her baby and the baby Deer was limping.
The vet was not there, they were still moving in, we should keep praying for them to
Jesus if this happens and try not be sad. Lord Jesus will also move all kinds
of animals in the wild, on land and in the sea, Elephants, Penguins, Humpback Whales, badgers all kinds, to where it is safer for them to be and he will move them, to where they can hopefully have help from us, if they need it, and if it is safe for you to help them,
and try not get upset if you can not help them, give them back in prayer to Lord Jesus.
You can pray to God and Lord Jesus about your pets, give Jesus their names and tell him everything about them. Lord Jesus may also work on your pet animals to alert you to something, perhaps a medical problem, needing prayer to him with a doctor or an environment problem, floods or earthquakes needing prayer to him and keep a prayer journal, to help you with your daliy walk with our Lord, in your bible, writing down your prayer request to Lord Jesus, to give to Father God on your behalf and scripture
verses that Lord Jesus will bless your heart with, to help cheer you up
and do not be upset if Lord Jesus corrects you about things in your life,
as you read your bible with him, he loves you and would llike you to keep well.
Tonsilitis...Our village had one year of rather a lot of children and adults coming down with this virus. My eldest son was very poorly with this twice. I had an NHS direct nurses helping me on the phone first time he had this and said it was a medical emergency and he needed antibiotics, off to the hospital, they said it was a virus back to the doctors it was a virus. I thought he was going to die on his 8th day of having this, with high tempratures mostly at night, he had a slight rash on his chest at the start of having this tonsilitis very red cheeks and sore throat. I was praying and praying to Lord Jesus and God, on the morning of his 8th day of having this, my son sat up in bed and asked for something to eat, so relieved, thank you Lord Jesus. I phoned the emergency doctor, my son had a slight temprature and an ear infection, I asked the doctor for antibiotics, he gave some for both my children, my youngest sons symptoms were milder, they slept well that night, the NHS direct nurse helping me on the phone with my son, said, they would not have let that go on longer than three days and antibiotics are the only thing that can get a temprature down with that.
The second time my son had this was truly awful, he was covered in a rash, of to the doctors its a virus, back to see another doctor the next day its a bacterial infection, his doctor was worried he could get Kidney failure with it, he really was not sure what it was, my sons palms of his hands were going purple and behind his knees also, the doctor kindly gave us antibiotics at his surgery as our pharmacist would have been closed by the time we got back to our village, he phoned the next day to see how he was, a little better, he went onto have really awful skin peeling on the palms of his hands and fingertips. You can ask your doctor for a swab test with this tonsillitis, as it can be a bacterial infection or a virul infection, a mum in our village told me this, as her daughter suffers repeatedly with tonsillitis, and you are to have a special type of antibiotic for 10 days if a bacterial infection, he went on to have this a third time and the nurse at our surgery said they usually wait for three days before giving the antibiotics, the nurse gave them to him on his second day of having
it and he had no awful symptoms

August 2010 We had a tornado over our house, I was not aware it was, seriously thought
the roof was going to come off, it hovered over the house for at least 10 minuets or more with a howling whistling wind, The tornado damaged some buildings in the next town to us. My children slept through it all and I was praying to Lord Jesus.
April 2009 A new virus called swine flu arrived in our country,
my eldest son sufferd with this, I had a nurse from NHS Direct as it was called back then helping me on the phone and did not think he had it and was told to keep him proped up in bed with pillows, if he starts coughing, and keep him off school for three days to just be sure, he started flagging on his 5th day of having it, I phoned the doctor, whom felt he was just coming out of it and he was too late to have the tamieflu,
which is an antiviral medecine to help with the symptoms of a virus, I was not praying to Lord Jesus, not sure how to, all very overwhelming.
Moving from our very old rented cottage. My children suffering with chesty
whooping type coughs, we were on a heavy traffic road, with a bus stop outside
our house and it was impossible to keep the fumes out of our home.
My children had their first MMR Vaccination done privately,
one at a time, so this would have helped, they continued to have episodes
of persistant coughs for a few years, the nurse said there was
a coughing virus that can last upto 8 weeks.
Tried to make the special Passover meal, that Lord Jesus shared with his precious disciples 2000 years ago, Jesus likes for us to remember him with this meal. I was terrified when preparing this for the first time , so many things God requires for you to do perfectly, as we can read in the old covenant of our bible, I really did not prepare this very well, my children really did not enjoy this, they thoroughly enjoyed the next one a few years later, we raced to the shops in our car to buy everything, it poured down with rain and a beautiful rainbow appeared, we still have our pretend wine glasses from this meal and continue to use them, to share in this special meal to remember Jesus with, as we can read in our bible in the book of Luke, a disciple who walked with Lord Jesus while he was with us on earth 2000 years ago and wrote this for us to read, in chapter 22: 7 onwards, of our bibles.
February 2008 We had an eathquake, in a very old cottage we were renting.
My youngest son came to me one evening and said "Mum I have brought you your boots in case you can not find them in the morning," I thought to myself odd thing for him to say and do. Our house wobbled that night, I discovered on the news in the morning, that there had been a 5.2 magnitude earthquake, that had affected nearly all of England and some countrys abroad. Our house had a faulty supporting wall, the builder working on it, informed me of this, the house survived. My Son was trying to help me pray to Lord Jesus about this,
I did not realise this at the time. Our homes will be perfect in heaven, thank you Lord Jesus.
Moved into a very old cottage.
Our prayers were answerd, I went for my first ultrasound scan and the sonographer focused on my baby all perfect, then she said, there is the other one, we both burst into tears, I have always hoped to have twins. One of my twins was poorly a few days after being born, the staff were amazing and had the equipment needed to help him, I was playing songs in hospital, they were not for Lord Jesus as beautiful as they were, I should have been playing worship songs to Lord Jesus and I did not have my bible with me in hospital. I was very blessed to have my friend from college days on the same ward as me who had a baby daughter, so lovely to see her and her new baby, all was not well though and her baby had to have surgery, all went very well and her daughter was able to enjoy my Son's first birthday party. My other twin was looking peaky on my last day in hospital, we stayed for two weeks, I asked the paediatrician to look at him, all ok, then after a week he was not doing well, he would some times go blue in his face when layed down flat on his back, on the phone to the hospital, back and forth to the doctors, they were not sure what it was, my health visitor thought it was a bug, he was not in a good way at times, two months later my health visitor said it was acid reflux and he would never be able to lie flat on his back again, back and forth to the doctors. I was trying to pray, could not read my bible and was not playing any beautiful worship songs in our home to Lord Jesus and God, I did not have any.
Lord Jesus was helping me, I did not realise this though back then.
Summer, Winter and Autumn
The midwife helping me in hospital with Autumn, was hoping everything would correct itself with my baby. The Registra brought me the portable scanner and appologises for it not being very good, I could see my daughters heart beating, all perfect, he appologised for not being able to save my baby as was too small. I asked the nurse helping me if she would pray for my baby, I had not given her a name, the nurse said, I always pray over all my little babies, that was of great comfort to me.The Midwife helping me came and sat on my bed and prayed to Lord Jesus for me to bring a baby safely into the world.
I was able to have a beautiful funeral conducted for my daughter Laurie, her name changed later to Autumn, I have written a poem about her. I was not able to have a funeral for my twin daughters Summer and Winter, names I chose later, as I was not aware at the time that I had had twins, thank you Lord Jesus… I was due my first ultrasound scan when my friend phoned me out of the blue, asking if I was ok, I said I am not sure, my friend said she was on the way, the moment she stepped foot in my flat, the unimaginable started to happen to me. I phoned my doctor, he was not being very positive, we waited for him to phone back, my friend was getting worred, her gift of being calm, kept me calm, the doctor phoned back and suggested for my friend to get me to hospital in her car, as it would be quicker than an ambulance, we got to hospital just in time. We have Lord Jesus to help us with all these things, as we seek him everday in our bible.
