"Winter"
Our Wedding Gifts
This is just a small collection,
they are not for sale.

"Spring"
My new bible with a knitted purse
style cover made from a shepherdess flock of rare breed sheep, gifted to me a few years ago, washed and hand carded on my very old handmade hand carders, I have recently bought some new ones, that were hardly used by the previous owner, they are wonderful. I spun the sheep fleece on my drop spindle, not as wonderful as I would have liked, have since bought a new drop spindle, that is better for making thicker yarns with.

"White Roses"
My mums last words to me were very sweet on the phone, talking about our family home we all lived in before my parents divorced and our gardening days together when I was about 4 years old and the rescue of the toad, my mum nearly dug up while preparing to plant some flowers, "Stop," I shouted and it hoped out the way just in time. My mums faith slowly was restored in Jesus a few years before going home to be in heaven. white roses are for my mum,
her favourite.

"Winter Snow"
This scarf is made using chunky man-made wool. It is knit in garter stich, every row a knit row. It took me a very long time to make. I gave the above one to my oldest brother, who suffered with his health in his latter years, as did his partner, whom he cared for, I was able to encourage his partner to knit again and sent her a simple pattern, some wool and knitting needles at her request, so happy, she once was able
to do Fair Isle knitting. My brother was not able to go to church for many reasons, I was able to share a little of my bible with him on the phone, he believed in Jesus in his own special way, very precious to God and he and his partner are both safe in heaven with Lord Jesus, so happy for my brother, thank you Lord Jesus. I made another scarf for my children's Grandad on their dads side of the family and presented it to him, on one of our sadly brief visits to see him, he was not keen on it, his Great Grandaughter was and still wears it, this made me so happy and made her Great Grandad happy also...Ideal gift to give to your brother's or Great Grandaughters.

"Samuel"
A cardigan in moss stich, suitable for a new baby gift

" Winter "
Summer 2024 This is the same scarf as the "Winter Snow," scarf I knitted for my oldest brother, this is also being made with man-made wool, in the same colour, with a slight change for my son, knitted on my sister's wooden knitting needles. I was able to teach my son's to knit on knitting needles for chunky wool, when they were about seven years old, they did very well, my eldest son prefered to knit on smaller needles with finer wool, he recently requested for me to make him the "Winter Snow" scarf...
Ideal gift to give to your Son's
Thank you Father God.
"Sail Boating Days"
A new scarf for my children's Grandad,
on their dads side of the family, he chose the colour and pattern, sadly did not get to make it in time for him to wear, "Twenty Two years is a long time to be on your own," words he spoke to us missing his much loved wife, and recovering from a triple heart attack while in his beautiful garden one afternoon. Lord Jesus was helping him and he recovered very well. I was able to share some very special words from God and Jesus in my bible, with my children's Grandad, a few months before he passed away, It made him so happy, he had no idea God loved him so much,"Remarkable", he said. Ideal gift to give to your Mother-In -Law or Sister's. I have had a change of heart for the scarf and will now be making a crochet blanket still called "Sail Boating days", inspired by a cardigan my children's Grandad
gave me, belonging to his wife,
he named their beautiful sail boat after his wife, safe in heaven with Lord Jesus
Thank you God.

" Gypsophila"
A scarf for my older sister and being knitted on her wooden
knitting needles for chunky wool, that had belonged to my oldest sister.
My sister tried very hard to teach me to knit on these,
when I was about 7 years old, I could not do it.
My sister died in a very tragic way at 18 years old while
studying to be a nurse. My sister did not have anyone praying for her back then.
I was very blessed to have been able to spend a few days with her before her
passing away, she was so happy, telling me all about a new relationship
she was in and she treated me to some new clothes
for my birthday, as we raced around town together. I walked with my sister to our family
doctors and waved goodbye to her, as I went off to see my friend to help her with her horse
and that was the last time I saw my sister, she returned back to her student nursing
accomodation the next day and a friend took her to A&E in he evening, they could find anything
wrong with her and sent her back to her student accomodation
and my sister lost her fight for her life to stay with us.
We both needed to seek Lord Jesus in prayer to him first for forgivness about all these things
and read my bible, my sister was not able to do this. I had no peace in my soul about her passing away, where had my sister gone, my eldest brother had no peace either in his soul and one of my older sisters
wrote a very sad poem about her. "Gypsophila" would be a lovely
name for her baby she lossed, her favourite flowers.
I was so happy for her wonderful news,
so sad for everyone, Photo above is of her wooden
knitting needles, my sister is safe in heaven, we must seek Lord Jesus in prayer
for our loved ones, and give him their names and tell him everything about them
so he can help them, even if they do not believe in him, so happy for my sister.
Thank you Father God and Lord Jesus

"Bella"
February 2023 A small cotton fabric bag,
with a cotton, lining and draw string closure, to put small crochet
projects in, named after our dog. Bella went from being 12 killogrammes down to 8 killogrammes, and lost all her fur, I made her a cotton coat with a cotton fabric lining, the summer was exceptionally hot that year, a gentleman asked why she was wearing it when out for a walk, I said to protect her from the sun, as she had no fur, he said, "I had guinipig that lost all its fur and you have got to try everything." we were praying for her. Bella continued to loose weight, she had 8 weeks of medicated baths and two lots of antibiotics, her skin looked wonderful again, she would upset it on and off. I changed her food over those 8 weeks to an all beef food as she was not digesting her food very well, her skin was very pale. I took her to see a new vet as hers was on holiday and she was still loosing weight, down to 8 kilogrammes, I was given an option to have her put to sleep, I did not want this as I knew she was back to her normal self and her skin was getting pinker. I had a blood test done for her and her liver count was slightly up, she started upsetting her skin again. They eventually found an infection far down in her ear, eventually she started to put on weight again.
it took another 6 weeks for her skin to get better from this,
all eventually very well for Bella and she has also been blessed by God, with being able to detect diseases in animals and possibly humans, to help vets and doctors.
Thank you Lord Jesus
